A new technology advocacy group founded by former Rackspace president Lew Moorman is setting its sights on bringing ride-sharing back to the Alamo City. Tech Bloc will hold its kickoff event today, May 19, at 5 p.m. at Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery at Pearl. More than 750 people are expected to attend the event including mayoral candidates Leticia VanDePutte and Mayor Ivy Taylor, as well as San Antonio city councilmen Ron Nirenberg, and Ray Saladaña.
